App analytics

Usage reporting for authorized Ryuo administrators.

Who can open it

The app analytics dashboard is a restricted website page for the Ryuo team. It is not a view of other customers available to regular accounts.

Sign in with an approved, verified email address, then open Admin below Settings in your account navigation. Access is checked on the server. Having the link, changing browser data, or being signed in to the desktop app does not grant access. If the button is missing, contact the site administrator to check that your email is approved.

The private engineering handbook has a separate Codebase link for its authorized owner. Analytics access does not automatically grant handbook access; accounts authorized for both see both buttons.

What it shows

  • Total accounts, verified accounts, new accounts, and active users.
  • Daily, weekly, monthly, and lifetime active users, plus 12 months of activity.
  • Day 1, day 7, and day 30 retention with weekly cohorts.
  • Approximate countries of active users, including unknown locations.
  • Reported Studio prompts and Ryuo credits charged.
  • Daily activity and new-account charts over 7, 30, or 90 UTC days.
  • Cloud request outcomes, provider requests, compute jobs, and current active plans.
  • A searchable, paginated list of accounts with email, verification status, plan access, latest known country, join date, last activity date, and usage totals.

Use the date buttons to change the reporting period, search by email to find an account, and Refresh to load the latest records. Search only filters the account list, not the overview totals. All reporting days use UTC and include the current, incomplete day.

What the numbers mean

An active user has a reported Studio prompt or cloud request in the selected period. Opening the app alone does not count. Activity that has not been reported, including signed-out or offline use, is not visible. Deleted and anonymous accounts are excluded.

Daily active users (DAU) counts unique users today so far. Weekly active users (WAU) and monthly active users (MAU) count unique users over the last 7 and 30 UTC days, including today. These cards always use those windows, regardless of the date filter. Lifetime active users counts everyone with any recorded activity, once each; it is different from total registered accounts.

The monthly chart always shows 12 calendar months. Someone active on several days counts only once per month. First-time active users had their first recorded activity that month. The current month is incomplete.

Retention

Retention answers: “Did someone come back after their first active day?” Day 1, day 7 and day 30 mean activity on exactly that day after first recorded use, not any later return. For example, a first active day of October 1 makes October 8 their day 7.

The selected period determines which first-time active users enter the cohorts. Weekly rows begin on Monday and may contain partial weeks at the date boundaries. A user becomes eligible for a milestone only after that entire UTC day finishes. Until then, it shows a dash rather than a misleading 0%. The totals combine retained and eligible users, not an average of the weekly percentages.

First recorded use can be later than actual first use if earlier activity was not reported. Account deletions can change historical counts.

Location

Countries are approximate, based on the network location of an authenticated Studio activity report. The dashboard uses each account's latest known country, not a live location or a history of movement. VPNs and proxies can affect it. Missing locations stay Unknown; historical accounts gain a country only after a new report provides one. The country breakdown includes active users in the selected period, not just the searched accounts.

No raw IP addresses, GPS coordinates or cities are stored for this dashboard. Only the latest country and observation time are saved. They are included in your account data export and removed when you delete your account. See the Privacy Policy for the broader handling of account and request information.

Usage and billing

Cloud requests are grouped by their creation date and show their current status. One prompt can produce several requests. The success percentage compares succeeded requests with succeeded plus failed requests; pending and cancelled requests are excluded. Credit totals show Ryuo charges for requests created in the period, not revenue or a payment report. Active plans show current paid-through access, independently of the date filter.

The dashboard does not expose conversation text, prompts, project files, generated content, passwords, or connection credentials. It uses account records, reported activity counts and approximate country from existing activity uploads; it does not add desktop screen or keystroke tracking. This is signed-in app usage, not website visitor analytics. If data cannot be loaded, it shows an error instead of partial or invented totals.
